Pavlos Kontides puts Cyprus on the map once again!


Following 10 races between July 25th, until July 30th, and today's Medal Race, Pavlos Kontides takes the honourable fourth place! After Pavlos’ Silver Medal in London, this place is, along with Antonis Nikolaidis’ the fourth place of in Shooting in Beijing, it is the second highest performance of Cyprus in the Olympic Games, to date!

With 88 points, three more than the Norwegian Tomasgaard Hermann, who won the Bronze Medal and six more than his teammate, Stipanovic Tonci, who won the Silver, and after finishing sixth place in the finals, our champion remained in the fourth place overall.
