The Cypriot Olympic team grows with the qualification of windsurfer Natasa Lappa

In such a challenging period for sports, good news has double the value! The Cypriot Olympic team got its 12th member, Natasa Lappa, an avid Windsurfer of the Limassol Nautical Club, in the RS: X category.

After three years of hard work and dedication, our nineteen-year-old athlete, who has been sailing since a very young age, will represent Cyprus in Tokyo, making all those who contributed to her success proud.

The qualification of Pavlos Kontides, Karolina Pelendritou for the Paralympics, and Natasa Lappa is a source of inspiration and focus for the other 5 athletes of the Limassol Nautical Club Kalia Antoniou, Nikolas Antoniou, Omiros Zagkas, Rares Nechita and Totis Iordanou who are after their qualification for Tokyo.

"Warm congratulations to Natasa Lappa for her Olympic qualification! We wish every success to all the athletes who are either competing for a place in the Tokyo Games, preparing for the Olympics, or are just now taking their first steps in the sports they love! Hard work and perseverance always pay off! Good luck to everyone!" stated the chairman of the Limassol Nautical Club, Mr. Nicos Charalambides.

Since 1980 the athletes of the Limassol Nautical Club have been representing Cyprus at the Olympics in Sailing-Windsurfing and Swimming.
