Michalis Kyriacou

Rowing Coach

Midia was born in Limassol and since childhood she has a strong bond with the element of water. She started rowing in 1999 and has been rowing since. Rowing for her was "love at first try", as she says. Leading into her studies in Sports Science and Physical Education, she continued rowing for the Friends of the Sea Club in Thessaloniki, winning several medals at the Greek National Rowing Championship from 2003-2007.

The years that followed found her rowing for the Reading University Boat Club in the UK, winning tenths of medals in Heads and Regattas, with the highlight being 2011 when she represented Great Britain at the European Universities Rowing Championship in Moscow, winning the Gold Medal in the WLw4x. Now, she's using all her experience, knowledge and passion as Head Coach of our Rowing Team.
